This is the fourth time for the band to win the State Championship
The band has also received 3 State Runner-Up placements

The Sacred Heart Jazz combo received a 1st Division rating at the state contest. Member of the combo are Nicholas Barton-Electric Bass, Matthew Herndon-Electric Guitar, Amber Smolik-Piano, Jeffery Tuttle -Trap set, Andrew Herndon and Chris Vanek - Tenor Saxophone and James Hemmi - Trombone
Congratulations to the Sacred Heart Band Students and their director, Mr. William Harrison
The Sacred Heart Band has been very successful at the TAPPS State Meets. The Indians band brought home the gold medal in the years 2002, 2003, and 2006. In 2007 the band is the state runner ups. The Sacred Heart Band is very proud to be the largest Private/Parochial band in the state of Texas. The band is under the direction of Mr. William Harrison. The twirlers are under the direction of Karen Meyer and the flag core is under the direction of Shirley Buchanan.
2007/2008
Drum Major : Junior -Jennifer Kallus.
Twirlers : Sophomore - Carly Osina, Tessa Stoner, and Freshman - Morgan Meyer and Sara Romine.
Flag Core Head - Senior - Tiffany Buchanan, Junior- Kelsey Jansky, Sophomore - Amanda Shimek and Freshman- Katie Allen and Alexandra Bludau.
