Fourth grade is such a busy year preparing the students for the transition into Junior High. We continue to improve our reading comprehension and fluency, while focusing on using good grammar in our writing. Multiplication plays a big part in our daily learning because the basic facts are the building blocks for all that we do in math. We also use the Reasoning Mind computer program to supplement our math lessons. Texas history is a fun part of 4th grade. While learning about the history of our great state, we present a play on the Battle of the Alamo and visit the Presidio La Bahia in Goliad. In religion, we learn how to live out the Ten Commandments, the Beatitudes and the New Commandment in our daily lives.
